RDX IN CAR CRASH
Dancehall’s dynamic duo RDX escaped serious injury following a motor-vehicle accident in the Netherlands’ capital city of Amsterdam on Sunday morning.
The duo was on their way to the airport to board a flight destined for Jamaica, to perform at the “Zee Party Hard: Bay Watch Edition” event at the Sugarman’s Beach in Portmore, St Catherine, on Sunday night.
They, however, failed to appear, after the vehicle in which they were travelling, skidded along the roadway and crashed into a curb.
“They didn’t visit any hospital. They just tried to reach the airport after the police came and took a report,” said public relations manager for the duo, Shuzzr Smith.
They were disheartened for not being able to perform hits such as Kotch, Jump, Broad Out and their latest single RideIt at the event booked for.
“They are doing just fine although a bit shaken up. They are disappointed that they weren’t at last night’s (Sunday night) Zee Party Hard,” Smith pointed out.
The video for Ride It premiered locally on the weekend.
