Edge Michael singer/songwriter, inspired and indebted to the potency of his radical reggae roots, ignites fires with his high-energy soul rocking ride of a show, that leaves his audiences empowered. Although born into the Royal Reggae bloodline as the nephew of the legendary Peter Tosh. Edge a natural born entertainer wails with a lyrical thought proving style all his own.
“My career has taken me around the globe in so many towns cities, villages. I see the need for help in so many ways”. As Edge has toured the U.S. and Europe from Atlanta to Austria he carries his messages of self-empowerment through love and compassion for mankind. The Edge Michael Foundation sponsors The Blossom Garden Orphanage in Montego Bay Jamaica. “I need for people to feel the love in my music therefore I must feel the love and needs of the people”.
Early in his career he donned the microphone with his soulful bravura as lead vocalist for such hard hitting Reggae Roots bands like Jah Children and Gumption, going solo Edge has self composed and arranged seven albums. “Rebel with a Cause” made the top 10 reggae albums of the year in Brazil in 07, and two number one hits in Jamaica in 2013 with “Kill some City” and a remake of “If it ain’t one thing its another” from his last album “Guilty till proven Innocent”.

Edge proves he lives by his words of justice and equality when he rolled the dice on an all white female U.S. based production team Fire Queen Productions and came up a winner at the 2013 International Jamaican Film Festival with the quirky clean cut video for “If it ain’t one thing it’s another”. Edge has shared the spotlight with some of the biggest names in Reggae from Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs and Sanchez to the Iconic Beres Hammond, Sly Dunbar, Trevor Mckinzie, Lincoln Thomas (Ziggy Marley), and House of Riddim. Edge has also crooned tunes for Steele Pulse, Burning Spear, Bunny Wailer, Maxi Priest and Shaggy.
Edge Michael is currently hosting a medical mission in western Jamaica to assist the sick and the elderly, bringing in doctors, nurses and medical assistants from the United States volunteering they’re time and knowledge in trying to make a difference. Edge is also a musical ambassador for Michael Franti’s “Do It For The Love” Foundation Hope and Healing through Music, a non-profit wish granting foundation bringing people and children with life threatening illness together with musician’s world wide to create life-changing experiences for their fans and families. “Giving back is not about the money you spend, it’s the time you lend”
